Geelong hard nut Scott Selwood has injured his hamstring tonight against his old side West Coast at Domain Stadium.

Selwood went off in the third quarter and was receiving attention from the Geelong medical staff.

He has since had his right hamstring strapped with ice and will take no further part in the game.

Selwood has been in great form leading up to tonights game, averaging 19 disposals and 14 tackles a game this season.

Tania Armstrong boundary riding for Triple M reported the latest on Selwood.

“He is also gone for the night, they are strapping some ice to the back of his right hamstring," she said.

“He walked off the ground like a man who has done his hamstring unfortunately for Scotty Selwood.”

More to come.
