Gold Coast have confirmed the appointment of Craig Cameron as their new list manager.

Cameron was previously Greater Western Sydney’s list manager but abruptly left that position last week.

The Suns have also installed Jon Haines as the club’s football manager, replacing Marcus Ashcroft who held the role since the club was formed in 2011.

Haines was previously the West Austrlaian Football Commission’s executive manager of football operations.

Gold Coast CEO Mark Evans welcomed the appointments.

“Jon and Craig both bring experience and knowledge to the club, they will both sit on our executive team and will drive our football strategy across the club," Evan said.

“Jon’s extensive club and industry experience results in him being extremely well suited to the general manager of football operations role.

"He will be responsible for all of the day-to-day operations of the football program, and leading the coaching and high performance, player welfare and development, players and football administration areas.

“Craig has a history in recruiting and list management. He will oversee this area as well as our fast growing talent academy programs where our aim is to be the best club in the country at integrating our male and female academies and pathways, all the way up to our elite AFL teams.”
