Hawthorn big man Jon Ceglar has been ruled out of the Hawks’ meeting with Gold Coast in Launceston on Saturday.
Ceglar is suffering from a corked quad which he picked up against Adelaide last week and has been replaced in Hawthorn’s selected side by Tim O’Brien.
After being sidelined for 21 months due to a serious knee injury, 27-year-old Ceglar made successful return to the Hawks’ line-up recently and has played the last three games.
Hawthorn could enter the top eight this week if they beat the Suns. The Hawks have lost just two of their last 33 games at their Tasmanian fortress.
