Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall believes Travis Cloke will lose his spot in the Western Bulldogs side if Jordan Roughead makes his return from injury this week.

Roughead has been sidelined since the pre-season due to a rare hamstring tendon injury.

But the premiership Dog, who is capable of playing a variety of roles including ruck, is on the verge of returning to the line-up for the team’s crunch clash with St Kilda.

If Dunstall had to choose between Cloke and Jack Redpath with regards to who would make way for Roughead, he would lean towards the former Magpie.

“The difference between he and Redpath is that Redpath isn’t getting a heap of the ball but he’s kicking you two or three goals every week. He’s finding a way,” Chief told Triple M’s Rush Hour during the Midweek Rub.

“Cloke’s not doing that so for that reason I think I’d probably take Redpath.”

Meanwhile, Triple M Footy’s Jay Clark doesn’t think Tom Liberatore will come straight back into the side after his shock omission last week.

“He might be set for a couple of the weeks in the twos,” Jay-Z said.

One of coach Luke Beveridge’s concerns about Liberatore is his physical fitness and Dunstall joked: “They reckon Bill (Brownless) could beat him in a beep test right now.”
