Hawthorn has revealed the new guernsey numbers the playing will be wearing this season.

Some of the numbers are being assigned to new players, while some players already in the system have changed theirs.

The Hawks explained some of their changes in this video:

Ex-Port player Jarman Impey has taken the number 4 guernsey vacated by Billy Hartung, while James Sicily has moved from the 21 jumper to 6, most recently worn by the retiring Josh Gibson, and Blake Hardwick has taken the opportunity to move from his 37 jumper to the 15 guernsey left vacant by Luke Hodge’s move to Brisbane.

Two gamer Kieran Lovell has made the move from the 36 jumper that Hawthorn fans consider cursed and taken Sicily’s old 21, while Marc Pittonet has moved into Tyrone Vickery’s 27 and left 43 behind.

New recruit David Mirra has taken 32, Dylan Moore has moved into the cursed 36 guernsey, Jackson Ross to 37, James Worpel 38, Harrison Jones 40 and Changkuoth Jiath 43.
