Hawthorn will unveil tall forward Mitchell Lewis this weekend.

The man with the surnames of the two Hawthorn champions discarded right before he was drafted - Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis - will play his first game this weekend against Brisbane.

Even better? He'll be stationed near Luke Hodge down back, meaning the Hodge-Mitchell-Lewis combo is finally reunited, even if it's not exactly the original.

“I was very excited when Clarko announced it in front of the boys," Lewis told Hawthorn's website.

“It was just sheer emotion, all the boys cheering and getting around [me] was a really, really nice feeling.”

Lewis has kicked 14 goals from five games in the VFL this season, including a bag of four last weekend against Casey.
