Current GWS and ex-Collingwood defender Heath Shaw says that he hasn’t fixed his relationship with Pies coach Nathan Buckley, and wouldn’t answer a phone call from him.

Shaw left the Pies at the end of 2013 after 173 games and the 2010 flag, going to GWS where he has since made the All-Australian team twice and won a best and fairest.

Speaking on Fox Footy’s On The Mark, Shaw said he was forced out of Collingwood.

“I was definitely pushed out and I didn’t really want to go, didn’t see myself ever leaving Collingwood but it was the best thing I ever did,” Shaw said.

“There wasn’t relationships there with certain people, which is part of the reason why I had to go. And I think it was the best thing for me and the club.

“Have I mended those relationships? No, there’s certain people that I won’t and I don’t want to.”

Shaw confirmed Buckley was one of those with whom his relationship had deteriorated.

“I wouldn’t ring him (Buckley) up and say hello and I don’t know if I’d answer his call if he rang me,” Shaw said.

“You can’t get along with everyone. I’m probably not his cup of tea and he’s probably the same… There would be people at Collingwood around the time that I was there that probably didn’t like me and vice versa.”

Shaw has played 100 games for GWS since he crossed, featuring in two preliminary finals.

The Pies traded him for Taylor Adams in the 2013 trade period.

Rory Sloane explained to the Triple M Adelaide boys why he re-signed with the Crows.
