Jack Trengove last played for the Dees in round two, 2014 - nearly 800 days ago.

And if a week is a long time in footy, then two years is a bloody eternity.

Some things have remained the same (the Hawks are still reigning premiers for example) but the Melbourne list has turned over an astonishing TWENTY BLOKES in that time - almost enough to field a full side.
