With Travis Cloke announcing his retirement on Wednesday, there are now 25 father-son recruits currently running around in the AFL.

That number is expected to be boosted next month, however, with the likes of Patrick Naish (Richmond), Jackson Edwards (Adelaide), Tyler Brown (Collingwood), Lachie Harris (Brisbane Lions), Devlin Brereton (Hawthorn), Connor McLeod (Adelaide) and Liam Hickmott (Carlton) all chances to be drafted.

Cloke became the fourth father-son player to depart the league this year, following on from Sean Dempster (Sydney/St Kilda), Jobe Watson (Essendon) and Dylan Buckley (Carlton).

Geelong and the Western Bulldogs lead the way with four father-son recruits each on their respective playing lists.
