The new Perth Stadium will become the 47th venue to stage a VFL/AFL game next season.

The arena will replace Domain Stadium as the league’s home of footy in Western Australia and will host West Coast and Fremantle home games.

It has a lot of catching up to do to the MCG which has staged 2793 VFL/AFL games, more than double the next most Princes Park (1277).
