'I Think Buddy Franklin Might Be Looking At A Week'

Luke Darcy believes Lance Franklin might cop a week on the sidelines for an open hand to the face of Luke Hodge.

The two were tangled on half forward when the incident occurred, where Franklin appeared to shove Hodge in the face.

Darcy believes Franklin has something to worry about.

"Buddy Franklin, an open hander to the face of Luke Hodge," he said on Triple M.

"I reckon he's got an issue, Buddy."

"It's an open hand palm to the head of Luke Hodge, with genuine force - you don't see Luke Hodge fall to his knees.

"I think Buddy Franklin, with that sort of contact, might be looking at a week on the sidelines."

Chris Judd wasn't so sure.

"I actually think he's okay, I reckon Hodge accidentally ducks into it a little bit," he said.

"I think the force won't quite be sufficient for him to go."

Moments later, Franklin caught Hodge high after a kick, which caused another scuffle.
