The Pies are dealing with injury concerns over star recruit Daniel Wells and key defender Tyson Goldsack.
Wells pulled up short after taking off for a run, hurting his calf.
Triple M boundary rider Tania Armstrong spotted him with ice on his calf.
Goldsack spent the half time break down in the rooms dealing with a shoulder issue.
He spent 16 minutes on the bench in the third quarter, only coming back on when Wells went off.
"He was really struggling with his right shoulder in that whole second term. He came off and had it manipulated," Armstrong said.
Dennis Cometti had his usual sense of humour about Goldsack's injury.
"I want to play at centre half forward!" he declared.
