Jack Watts Opens Up On That Tom Bugg Instagram Post

Melbourne forward Jack Watts has brought a bit of clarity to Tom Bugg's Instagram post, saying Bugg and Jason Johannisen are good mates.

An Instagram post from Bugg in his story caught the eyes pre-game, when he posted a selfie of himself and Watts.

It contained the tag "you ready @jasonjohannisen?".

Watts said post-game on Triple M he didn't know how much attention it received until post-match.

"I wasn't (aware) until we got told after the game it's blown up," he laughed.

"He's good mates with JJ. We sort of know him through the circles. He did a pretty similar thing to Taylor Adams, another one of his good mates."

Watts said there's nothing to worry about.

"There's obviously nothing in that, no malice meant whatsoever," he said.

"But I can see how some people might see it that way."
