St Kilda has been dealt an injury blow with Jake Carlisle limping off the ground.
Carlisle appeared to hurt his hamstring in a marking contest, and went straight off the ground.
He returned to the field 10 minutes later with significant strapping on his left hamstring.
Rhett Biglands spotted the injury on the boundary.
"One solider resumes for the Saints, another one goes down," he said on Triple M.
"They're a man down with Jake Carlisle - (he's hurt his) left hamstring, gone down into the rooms
"He was struggling to get off the field, clutched at his left hammy and the docs are with him at the moment."
Carlisle returned, but Warren Tredrea wasn't optimistic about his hamstring.
"Carlisle can hardly run. He's limping when he's walking," he said.
St Kilda also had Mav Weller limp off the ground late in the first quarter with a reported ankle problem.
He returned in the second term.
