Western Bulldogs star Jake Stringer’s day has ended prematurely after suffering a hamstring injury.
Stringer pulled up holding his left hamstring early into the second quarter.
The forward then went down into the rooms with Bulldogs club doctors, coming up the race minutes later.
Stringer's hamstring was then iced on the bench.
Michael Roberts confirmed the game-ending hamstring injury, saying Stringer could be sidelined long term.
“I think it could have been in the first five minutes of the second quarter, gone for the afternoon. Could be out for a month,” Robbo said.
The Bulldogs are down to three men on the bench after the injury.
