Essendon assistant coach James Kelly had a long, successful playing career.
He played over 300 games, won three flags at Geelong and was named in the All-Australian team in 2011.
But he says the main thing he’s enjoying about finishing up on-field is the ability to have a beer midweek.
Kelly was on The Sunday Rub today and said he likes the opportunity to have a quiet frothie.
Kelly also spoke about Devon Smith’s form, his aspirations to be a senior coach, and more.
