Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott has been sent for scans after an incident at training today, according to afl.com.au.
Elliott left the track early and went to the scanning clinic at AAMI Park.
He managed 17 games in 2017 but missed all of 2016 due to a back issue.
Elliott had been in the news earlier this off-season when he was arrested for being drunk in public.
He was caught urinating in a bin on Derby Day.
Elliott has kicked 138 goals for Collingwood in 89 games since debuting in 2012.
