Blair had 39 touches — 31 of them handballs — and 10 tackles for the Pies, while Chris Mayne booted four goals.

The Pies went on to lose 13.5 (83) to 15.12 (102) at Casey Fields.

Earlier, Mason Cox had kicked the first two majors of the game before being taken off at half time.

The Pies senior team takes on Casey’s affiliate, Melbourne, at the MCG for the traditional Queen’s Birthday game on Monday.
