Patrick Dangerfield hit back at critics after he was accused of 'playing up' his foot injury against Hawthorn.
He showed up to a press conference yesterday heavily-bandaged as a bit of a media stunt:
The skit was both well-received and criticised across social media - with Jason Dunstall sitting in the camp that weren't fans.
Speaking on Fox Footy's On The Couch, the Hawks icon said the joke went down like a lead balloon.
"He's the near-perfect player; but he's the player I have a serious flaw with," Dunstall said.
"He's as well-equipped physically and skilfully to do anything in this game."
"But that press conference today - that attempt at humour - boy, did he miss out there, poor old Danger!" he joked.
"He loves to entertain, this man - but at least we know he's not perfect."
"Because it was cringe-worthy. Didn't get a laugh out of the press, but he tried!"
