Joel Selwood will become the third player to face the tribunal tonight, challenging his one-match ban for striking.

Selwood was charged with striking Port Adelaide forward Lindsay Thomas on the boundary who, moments earlier, had bumped his brother Scott.

Selwood will miss the clash with Sydney and be ruled ineligible for the 2018 Brownlow Medal if found guilty.

Thomas will also face the tribunal for the bump, as will Hawthorn star James Sicily, who is facing a serious misconduct charge for stepping on Shaun Atley's leg.

Triple M's Wayne Carey has hit back at Kane Cornes for suggesting he was told to praise Adelaide skipper Taylor Walker.
