Jonathan Brown has slammed Essendon as ‘weak’ after captain Dyson Heppell was pulled out of a radio interview.

“Dyson Heppell was supposed to be on our show this morning and has been pulled by the club last night which is weak as piss by the footy club because they committed,” Brown said this morning.

Brown's harsh comments have since been published by Fox Sports and the Herald Sun.

However, it turns out that the Bombers has absolutely nothing to do with the cancelation.

Heppell’s manager Marty Pask tweeted clarification about what ACTUALLY happened.

To be clear. Dyson Heppell was not 'pulled by EFC last night' from any radio interviews this morning. Dyson was to appear as an advocate for the Australian Grand Prix, to promote the event; Grand Prix officials chose to hold off his promotional interviews until closer to the event, to ensure the Grand Prix was the topic of conversation.

Essendon's media manager also tweeted that the Bombers hadn't done a thing...
