West Coast forward Josh Kennedy has announced himself ready to play again after missing the past 5 matches.

Since injuring his calf and Achilles in the Round 10 loss to the Giants, Eagles coach Adam Simpson said Kennedy is ready to return to the AFL stage.

"He came and put his magnet on the board today in my office – he hasn't done that for five weeks," Simpson told Channel Seven.

"He's got to get through training now; he's available to train.

"He ticked-off a few things over the weekend, so now he'll just train like everyone else and if he gets through that he'll play."

The West Coast website suggests that captain Shannon Hurn and midfielder Matt Priddis are also 'likely' to return to the side to take on Port Adelaide in a pivotal clash.
