Adelaide key forward Tom Lynch’s game against North Melbourne has ended prematurely at Blundstone Arena today.

Lynch copped a heavy head knock in a Jarrad Waite sling tackle late in the second quarter and went down to the rooms for a concussion test.

He failed and will miss the rest of the day.

Triple M boundary rider Rhett Biglands suggested Waite could be in some strife for the tackle.

“Tommy Lynch, concussion, out for the rest of the match,” Biglands said.

“Jarrad Waite you would have thought… that sling tackle looks a little nasty for the MRP review.”

The injury has made a tough day worse for the Crows, they trail 9.7 (61) to 17.12 (114) at three quarter time.

North key forward Jarrad Waite has booted five goals, while mercurial Crow Eddie Betts has snagged three majors.
