Sydney big man Kurt Tippett quelled any fitness issues with a dominant performance in the NEAFL.
The Swans defeated Canberra 25.15 (165) to Canberra 6.8 (44), on the back of a big game from the 30-year-old.
Tippett was massive in the ruck and up forward, racking up 22 disposals, taking six marks and kicking four goals - all to three quarter time.
He was well backed up by teammate Jordan Dawson, who won 37 disposals and kicked two goals, as well as Dan Robinson, who racked up 26 touches and kicked three goals.
Gary Rohan was also influential up forward, booting four goals among 19 disposals.
