Tippett played 74 games for the Swans after making the swap from Adelaide in the 2012 off-season.

He had played 104 games for the Crows after being taken at pick 32 in the 2006 draft.

The trade was highly controversial, with both Tippett and Adelaide sanctioned after it.

Adelaide were fined and banned from the first two rounds of the 2013 after being found to have breached the salary cap, while Tippett was fined and banned for the first 11 matches of the 2013 season.

Tippett kicked 325 goals from his 178 games, and led Adelaide’s goalkicking in 2010 and Sydney’s in 2013.
