There’s no one in footy who can spin a yarn better than than Billy Brownless.

After Gary Ablett Sr was featured on Channel 7’s coverage of the Melbourne v Geelong game last night, Billy took the opportunity to reel off a classic story about the man they called God.

Speaking on the Saturday Rub today, Billy explained that he was drinking in Torquay with Sean Simpson — an ex-teammate of both him and Gaz — at an establishment named Growler's when he came across a bloke who said he had Ablett Sr living with him.

Naturally they went off to say g’day to Gaz.
