Big Cat Esava Ratugolea proved important to Geelong in his eight games this season, with his dual forward/rock role difficult to replace after his ankle injury.

Ratugolea’s year appeared to be over when he fractured both bones in his lower leg in the game against Carlton in round 10, but Triple M Footy news breaker Damian Barrett says he may be able to make a comeback this year.

Speaking on the Friday Huddle tonight, Damo said that Ratugolea is targeting a late season return.
