Tonight's crowd at Spotless Stadium is the lowest attendance at a final since 1916.

Only 14,865 turned tonight, lower than the crowd that showed up to see the two sides play during the home-and-away season at the same venue.

This is the lowest crowd since 1916 where a crowd of 11,728 attended a semi-final between Carlton and Richmond at the MCG.

The Giants defeated West Coast in a clinical display, seeing them advance to the preliminary finals.
