Luke Darcy Says There’s No Need To Ban Alcohol At Any Footy Games

Luke Darcy has hit back at suggestions that alcohol should be banned from the footy at any games.

Speaking on the Friday Huddle, Darce said that there was no need to ban the majority from enjoying a beer with the footy when it’s the minority stuffing up.

“For the several million people who behave properly at the football, let’s ban part of the enjoyment which is a glass of wine and something you enjoy because 0.001% of people are absolute idiots?” Darce said.

“You ban them and you make zero, zero tolerance, you put them out of the game which has happened… everyone else goes and has a beer and enjoys their time at the footy.”
