North Melbourne has locked in Luke Davies-Uniacke for another two years, before the prized youngster has even played a game.

Last year's number four draft pick will now remain at North Melbourne until the end of the 2021 season.

Davies-Uniacke said he was thrilled to stay at the club, saying he's "loved every minute" of his time there so far.

“I’m rapt. I’m absolutely stoked. I’ve loved every minute at North and I can’t wait to see what the future holds,” he told the club's website.

“I’ve now got to put my head down and try and cement a spot in the side.”

It comes not long after the club locked in veterans Robbie Tarrant and Shaun Higgins to contract extensions.
