Carlton skipper Marc Murphy has taken out his second John Nicholls Medal.
Murphy (174 votes) won narrowly over team mates Sam Docherty (169) and Matthew Kreuzer (164).
The star midfielder averaged 30 disposals, 10 contestant possessions, 5 clearances and 4 tackles a game.
Murphy previously won the award in 2011.
