Geelong midfielder Mark Blicavs is done for the night with a lower leg injury.

Blicavs appeared to hurt his leg after being tackled by Rory Sloane.

He came off the field assisted by trainers.

Triple M boundary rider Rhett Biglands spotted him going down to the rooms.

"They didn't take the boot off to re-strap the ankle, so that suggests it's probably more of an Achilles," he said.

"He struggled to get out of a jog down here on the boundary line prior to going down."

Biglands later saw him return to the back of the bench.

"He hasn't got ice on it, but he has the jacket on."
