Adelaide legend Mark Ricciuto has shed some light on the controversial pre-season camp that the Crows went on, saying that some of the playing group loved it.
Asked to explain what went on at the camp, Roo said that suggestions that the playing group hated the camp were off the mark.
Listen to Ricciuto here:
“What I will say is Rory Sloane thought it was the best camp he’s ever been on,” Roo said.
“Tex Walker thought it was the best thing he’s ever done and recommends family and friends.
“The Crouch brothers said that, Rory Laird’s just signed a three year deal, they’re all happy.
“There’s a couple of players that didn’t enjoy the camp and didn’t like a certain part of it.
“No one’s got an issue with the doctor, no one’s unsettled, unnerved, considering their future.
“Not one player went to the Player’s Association… [it’s] very very different to the Melbourne situation.”
