Former AFL coach Mark 'Bomber' Thompson has reportedly been arrested and charged with seven counts of drug charges.
Police confirmed on Tuesday a 54-year-old Port Melbourne man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences.
Those charges include two counts of trafficking ecstasy and one count of trafficking methyl amphetamine, as well as possession of amphetamine, ecstasy, LSD and a prescription drug without prescription.
"He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon," Victoria Police confirmed on Tuesday.
"The charges relate to a search warrant which was executed at a Port Melbourne address on 5 January."
"He's lost his way, Bomber," Billy Brownless said upon hearing the news on Triple M's Rush Hour.
"A lot of people are trying to help him."
