The MCG have announced that there will be no public parking in the Yarra Park carpark for all Round 6 games.

This is due to the heavy rain Melbourne has experienced over the last few days.

This follows the car park being closed for the ANZAC day game.

The closure will affect the Carlton v Sydney game at the MCG on Saturday and the Geelong v Collingwood game on Sunday.

It will also affect the A-League semi-final at AAMI Park between Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar on Sunday evening.

People attending any of those events are recommended to use public transport.

There will be a very limited amount of parking for those with disability permits.

More information is available at the MCG website.
