Dees Haven't Been 2-0 Since 2005

It’s no secret that Melbourne have been pretty ordinary for a long period of time.

Missing the finals for the last 10 years would illustrate that quite clearly.

And, ironically enough, a win for the Demons on Sunday against Carlton would actually highlight how bad Melbourne’s recent history has been.

If, as expected, Melbourne take the four premiership points this weekend, it would be the first time since 2005 that they would have started a season 2-0.

That’s right - it’s been 12 years since the Demons have kicked off a new campaign with consecutive wins!

But if Saturday’s performance against St Kilda is anything to go by, it would appear as though the Demons’ dark days might be coming to an end.
