Reckon the Suns could do with a midfielder averaging 43 disposals a game?

That's exactly what Michael Barlow is dishing up in the reserves at the moment.

Barlow has been on fire in the NEAFL so far this season, racking up ball at will.

He's played just the four games so far, but he's made it pretty clear he's still got it, racking up at least 36 disposals in every game.

He's totalled 36, 46, 46 and 42 disposals in his four games, an average of 42.5 per game, as well as 8.3 marks, 6.5 tackles and 8.5 clearances.

He's also notched up 31 of a possible 40 votes in the NEAFL MVP to sit equal eighth.

Michael Barlow's four games:

Round 1: 36 disposals, 7 marks, 7 tackles, 6 clearances, 5 inside 50s

Round 2: 46 disposals, 8 marks, 6 tackles, 10 clearances, 4 inside 50s, 0.2

Round 7: 46 disposals, 10 marks, 3 tackles, 9 clearances, 7 inside 50s, 1.0

Round 9: 42 disposals, 8 marks, 10 tackles, 9 clearances, 1 inside 50
