In Nathan Buckley's press conference he updated reporters on the injuries to a key trio of players.
Collingwood were struck by a heavy injury toll during their win over Fremantle, with Tyson Goldsack, Jamie Elliott and Daniel Wells all confirmed to miss the Queen's Birthday match against Melbourne.
The news is positive for Goldsack, with Buckley assessing he should be fine to return after the club's bye for their match against Port Adelaide.
Buckley said Elliott, however, will miss anywhere from 1-4 weeks while Wells will miss a month minimum.
Father-son draftee Callum Brown is a confirmed debutant, while forward Alex Fasolo has put his hand up for selection.
