Match Review Official Michael Christian has handed down 11 charges from Saturday and Sunday’s footy game, but has cleared Jesse Hogan of staging.

Hogan was cleared because Christian found that Carlisle made contact with his throat, and that “contact was not excessively exaggerated by Hogan, while force was below that for a charge, with a free kick paid at the time”.

Nic Natitanui is the only player banned, being offered a week for rough conduct on Karl Amon for this tackle:

He can also accept a $1000 fine for attempting to Jasper Pittard.

Dougal Howard can accept $2000 for rough conduct on Josh Kenendy, while Jarrad McVeigh and Shaun Higgins have copped $1500 for misconduct against one another.

Dale Thomas can accept $2000 for rough conduct against Jordan Galluci, and Nick Vlaustin can accept $1500 for misconduct against Ed Langdon.

David Armitage can take $1000 for careless contact against an umpire N Foot, Nathan Jones can accept $1500 for misconduct against Jack Newnes.

Jack Steele has been offered $2000 for striking Max Gawn, and Alex Witherden can accept $2000 sanction for striking Ben Crocker.

Gold Coast’s Brayden Crossley was cleared for contact with Toby McLean because both players were contesting the ball.
