Orazio Fantasia Says That Everyone’s Been Pronouncing His Name Wrong This Whole Time

No name in footy rolls off the tongue better than Orazio Fantasia — just ask Brian Taylor.
But as it turns out, we’ve been pronouncing it wrong the whole time he’s been in the competition.
Not the first name — BT’s “Oraaaaaazio” is still right — but the surname is pronounced “Fan-ta-see-ya” rather than the “Fan-tay-zha” we’ve all been saying since he came on the scene.
Chris Judd gave Triple M’s Friday night team the tip-off on the mispronunciation last week, and Orazio Fantasia himself confirmed it on the Friday Huddle tonight.
