Triple M's Rhett Biglands has reported All-Australian ruckman Paddy Ryder is done for the day with an apparent Achilles problem.

LISTEN TO THE LATEST ON PADDY RYDER:

“Paddy Ryder limped to the bench and he’s been surrounded by medical staff for the last 10 minutes," he said on Triple M on Saturday afternoon.

"He’s taken off the boot and the strapping on the left leg and he’s got ice on his Achilles.”

Moments later it became apparent that Ryder was done for the day.

“Paddy Ryder’s moved to the back of the dugout now, boys. Just got that left leg elevated with the ice on it, right on the Achilles.

“That would suggest that he’s certainly done for the day."

Ricciuto suggested the injury could be problematic.

“He did have an Achilles issue when he first came to the club, didn’t he?" he remembered.

“That’s his jumping foot.”

Chris Dittmar was concerned about his fitness.

“Gee, that’s critical for Port Adelaide…they need Paddy Ryder," he said.

Triple M's own Billy Brownless joined the call team for the first time this Saturday, and he got one hell of an intro!
