Triple M's Paul Roos says Collingwood fans should be "filthy" after letting Tom Mitchell break the all-time disposal record, labelling it an "embarrassment" to Collingwood and their midfield group.

LISTEN TO PAUL ROOS ON THE PIES:

After racking up 50 disposals against the Pies last year, Mitchell went even better, finding the footy 54 times on Saturday night, an all-time record in the AFL.

Roos said Collingwood fans have every right to be disappointed in their club after letting Mitchell dominate again.

"Let’s be really clear on this. He’s the only player to get 50 possessions twice, against the same team," he said on Triple M's Sunday Rub.

"If I’m a Collingwood member…I’ve got every right to be filthy today about my football team in that one aspect.

Roos was stunned no one at Collingwood gave him any attention, even after dominating the first half.

"He’s got 27 (disposals) at half time. I watched the last quarter, Swatta, and no one went near him. No one went anywhere near him," he said.

"It’s an embarrassment to the Collingwood football club, it’s an embarrassment to their midfield group as a whole.

"No other player - let’s be really frank on this - no other player has got two 50-possession games, and he’s done it against the same team!

"I hate being critical of other coaches, I hate being critical of match committees…but if you’re a Collingwood supporter today, you should be filthy with your match committee."
