Today’s JLT Series game between Geelong and Essendon saw Central Reserve in Colac absolutely packed out.

Over 9,000 turned up — three quarters of the town’s entire population of 12,000.

With such a huge turnout, people had to be resourceful to make sure they could get a decent view of the game.

That was no dramas for a few people who set up on the roof behind one of the goals, with eskies and all:

To make things even better, the big fella is double-parked.

The 9,117 in attendance saw the Dons get up 15.11 (101) to 15.7 (97) in an entertaining affair.

Summer recruit Jake Stringer was at his scintillating best for Essendon, booting 2.2, while Tom Hawkins kicked five and Dan Menzel four in encouraging signs for the Cats.
