Port Adelaide assistant coach Nathan Bassett has quashed suggestions around Robbie Gray's fitness, saying the star forward is "playing".
Gray has made the trip over to Shanghai, but there has been talk around his fitness.
The 29-year-old was believed to be carrying a groin injury, but Warren Tredrea told Triple M the Port Adelaide star had been battling a cork to his calf.
However, Bassett played it down.
"Well, I can't guarantee that he won't wake up sick tomorrow morning!" he said on Triple M's Dead Set Legends.
"But I imagine he will play."
Bassett said Gray pulled up fine from last week's loss to West Coast.
"The feedback from last week was that he was fine...he's playing."
