The match at Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai will be the first AFL game played in China for premiership points.

This is a huge step for Port Adelaide as they pioneered the idea to take AFL to China, despite it technically being a Gold Coast home game.

This game hasn't been without controversy, with Port filing for Gold Coast to wear their white alternative strip instead of their 'red and yellow' kit, as they are the Chinese national colours.

There was also speculation the game would be moved back to Metricon Stadium due to political tensions between America and North Korea which have been categorically denied.

The game will be played on Sunday May 14th.
