Port Adelaide youngster Aidyn Johnson has signed a new two-year contract that ties him to the Power until the end of 2019 at least.

The 19-year-old, who was selected with pick No.45 in the 2015 draft, made his debut this year and played five games before being dropped for Port Adelaide’s finals campaign.

Johnson said he was looking forward to the start of pre-season training in late November.

“Physically I’m feeling really good now after having trouble with injuries during my first season,” Johnson said.

“Having had a taste of AFL footy this year I’m determined to earn a regular spot in the side.”
