On the eve of the finals, Port Adelaide have announced they have secured the signatures of Jasper Pittard and Sam Gray.

Pittard has resisted the lures of free agency after reportedly being heavily chased by rival clubs from his home state of Victoria, re-signing with the Power for three years, while Gray has signed on for the next two seasons.

In a statement released by the club this afternoon, the Power's General Managers of Football Chris Davies says both players best footy is still to come.

“Having been named in the 2016 All-Australian squad of 40 players, Jasper has shown he has the capability to be a significant player at AFL level,” Davies said.

“He’s had to battle injury this season but we know when he’s up and about he is an invaluable part of the group.

“We’re really pleased he has made the decision to stay for the next three seasons.

“Sam has played an extremely demanding and selfless role for the team and has done it exceptionally well this year.

“He has brought great pressure and intensity and, as we saw on the weekend, can also make an impact on the scoreboard.”
