Port Adelaide's loss to West Coast on Saturday night has even affected their SANFL side on Sunday.

Three players - Jackson Trengove, Aaron Young and Matthew Broadbent - have all been withdrawn from their side to take on Woodville-West Torrens in Sunday's semi final.

Port Adelaide announced the news on their website on Sunday morning.

SANFL selection rules dictate they cannot be selected as Port Adelaide's seniors are no longer in an active selection period, which grants them an exemption from the normal rules.

Port Adelaide players eligible for selection in the SANFL semi must have played the majority of the season in the reserves, as well as at least three SANFL games after June 30.

None of the three have reached those two benchmarks.

Jesse Palmer, Cameron Hewett and Emmanuel Irra, who were all on their extended bench, have all come into the side.

The final kicks off at 3:10pm.
