Port Adelaide have released images of the developments at Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai.
The goal posts have been put in the ground and the grandstands are starting to be constructed for the first AFL game for premiership points in China.
Port have pioneered expanding the AFL into China and will face the Gold Coast Suns in Round 8 on Sunday the 14th May.
The game is a Gold Coast home game as Port did not want to forfeit home games at Adelaide Oval.
Port reported that the game was sold out last week and expect a crowd of around 25,000 people.
