A Western Australian reporter has copped a bit of criticism for asking Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge one of the worst questions ever.
The Bulldogs lost by 16 points in an upset against Fremantle, with one of the talking points being Aaron Sandilands' dominance over Tom Campbell in the ruck, winning 42 hit outs to Campbell's 16.
So the reporter asked Beveridge if the Dogs needed to bring in some support for Campbell.
"Would you consider bringing in Will Minson to support, uhh, the other ruckman Campbell?" he asked.
Beveridge's response was a classic.
"It's going to be tough, mate, he's retired," he responded.
"Didn't you know that? Sorry. He's retired, mate. He's finished up, Will. He was an outstanding servant of our football club."
